A Walnut Hill Wedding

I met Karina & Josh last year the week before the US shut down. I was a vendor at the Walnut Hill Bridal Show, and that’s where I met Karina. Karina & Josh actually tied the knot in the fall of 2020, but decided to have their big celebration and ceremony in front of their closest friends and family in February of 2021. Since Karina is a nurse, she knew the importance of having a wedding that was safe for all involved, so the measures that she and Josh put into place at their wedding were well thought out and appreciated by all who participated as guests.

The best word that I can describe Karina & Joshua’s wedding as is “thoughtful.” Not only was the couple thoughtful in taking great measures in having a safe wedding, they also were thoughtful enough to provide a ceremony that was bilingual. The Priest married the two underneath the prettiest of trees on the Walnut Hill property and spoke in both English and Spanish languages. Out of all of the details, this was my favorite to witness.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed themselves by having cocktails on the lawn overlooking the pond. The night was full of great speeches, beautiful and sweet first dances with parents and (and even guests), and the best food to properly fuel all of the bellies. We ended the night with some night portraits of the couple underneath the full moon. It was magical.
