Emily & Ryan’s Wilmington Wedding

Emily and Ryan tied the knot in downtown Wilmington, NC at The Atrium by Ligon Flynn. Their wedding consisted of the prettiest pops of color, just themselves serving as the bridal party, and florals that painted that basked their venue in jaw dropping ways. Emily & Ryan’s wedding has been published in print via Southern Bride and Groom magazine.

Marina & Dustin’s Mayton Inn Wedding

Marina and Dustin married eachother at Saint Mary Magdalene Church in Apex, NC. They held their reception at the vivacious Mayton Inn located in Cary, NC. Guests flew in from all of the country to celebrate the love of these two. Marina wore a gorgeous lace and tulle gown, and Dustin had the perfect shade of blue to compliment. The best part of their day was just seeing these two show love not only to each other, but to all of their family and friends who gathered.

Sara & Marcel’s Edenton Wedding

Sara and Marcel held their ceremony on Marcel’s grandmother’s pier in Edenton, NC. This place was full of sentiment as Sara and Marcel would often meet each other there for dates during their 9 years together. Sara and Marcel planned their wedding within 3 months, shortly after Marcel found out his deployment date. Their reception hosted guests from all over, and took place at the Links at Mulberry Hill, formerly known as the Chowan Country Club.

Latressa & William’s Rose Hill Wedding

Latressa and William married in the quaint town of Nashville, NC at the utterly gorgeous Rose Hill Plantation. Ever since Latressa was a little girl, she dreamed of getting married at Rose Hill Plantation, so this was literally a dream come true. Their wedding was full of lush flowers, the prettiest of dresses (and oh my goodness, that veil!), and love that boasted from their first look down the aisle.

Stacy & Alex’s New Years Eve Wedding at the Rickhouse

Stacy & Alex met while they were both working in DC. Their wedding was a destination wedding of sorts as they had people from all over the country come in to Durham, NC to celebrate with them. This wedding is extra special as it took place on New Years Eve at the Rickhouse. The color palette is out of this world, as the bridesmaids wore the most beautiful sequinned dresses to compliment Stacy’s. Their wedding was a beauty all on its own, and held a really good party afterwards.

Jamie & Stephen’s Mims House Wedding

Jamie and Stephen met through mutual friends who just knew these two were meant to be together. Their wedding took place at the Mims House in Holly Springs, NC. Their wedding donned beautiful touches like the gorgeous flowers done by Tre Bella Flowers that fit right in to the classic background of their venue. Jamie and Stephen held the most gorgeous ceremony, and even included the washing of the feet during it. Their wedding is full of love and laughter, and some beautiful film photography to boot.

Marina & Dustin’s Fullsteam Brewery Engagement

Marina and Dustin wanted an engagement session that felt like them. These two are travelers, and every brewery they go, they take home a mug. It was only fitting that we do something that looked like them, in a town that they love. For their session we started out at Fullsteam Brewery located in Durham, NC, and then went around town highlighting some beautiful spaces that are tucked away in the city.

Alison & Brian’s UNC Campus Engagement

There is something to be said in going back to your Alma Mater, the place where you and your significant other first met, and having your engagement session done. I instantly fell in love with Alison and Brian. I loved their quirkiness, how down to earth they were, and the love that they showed one another. Their engagement session consists of all things beautiful color and film, some amazing outfits, and even showcases the same place that Brian asked Alison to be his girlfriend years ago.

Leslie & Jean’s Downtown Durham Engagement Session

Like most of my couples, Leslie & Jean have a deep love for our little town, Durham, NC. We started their engagement session at their favorite watering hole—Bar Virgile. Their session took place in between weather showers—it rained off and on. We later ventured to a site (Read: parking deck) that overlooked the American Tobacco Campus—a staple of our town. We ended the night at Motorco, which was fun and pretty in and of itself. The twinkle lights made for a nice ambience.
