    Nikki is the founder of Fancy This Photography and the creative force behind the brand. With over 13 years of experience and a background rooted in Southern hospitality, she brings a calm, grounding presence to every wedding day and a deeply editorial eye to every frame.

    She photographs weddings throughout the NC Triangle and beyond, including destination work in Spain.

    A little more about Nikki: Growing up on the coast of eastern North Carolina, Nikki learned early that showing up for people matters. She carries that with her to every wedding day. When she is not behind the camera she is raising backyard chickens in Carrboro, dreaming about spending extended time in Spain with her family, and helping other small businesses rank on Google through her SEO consulting work.

    Sarah has been part of the Fancy This team since 2020 and brings a photojournalism background that makes her genuinely exceptional at capturing the moments nobody else sees. She is quiet, observant, and has an eye for the small things that end up being the most meaningful frames in the gallery.

    A little more about Sarah: Sarah studied photojournalism at Randolph Community College and has worked with newspapers, commercial clients, and Ralph Lauren. She is also a certified novice paragliding pilot, which tells you everything you need to know about her appetite for adventure.

    Durham born, Nashville trained, and genuinely obsessed with weddings.

    Amanda grew up in Durham surrounded by cameras, her dad owned a camera store, and has never really stopped shooting since. She spent time in New York and Nashville before coming back home to North Carolina, where she fell completely in love with wedding photography and has been doing it ever since.

    A little more about Amanda: Amanda's energy on a wedding day is infectious in the best way. She is warm, funny, and has a way of making people feel so comfortable in front of the camera that they forget she is even there. That is exactly when the best images happen.
