Yall, I have been dying to photograph a cute couple in downtown New Bern! There is something so quaint and quite romantic of New Bern. I’m happy to say that I have spent a good amount of time there since my brother in-law and his wife reside there. However, I am always wanting to add on more hours in the city. One of the main attractions that I just fall head over heels for is the beautiful moss on the trees. In particular, there is this one church right in the middle of New Bern that boasts these large trees with beautiful hanging moss. It’s quite the sight to see in North Carolina, as we dont have much moss at all. I knew I had to have Sofia and Parker start at the church as it was so inspiring. So, we did and I am so happy about it!

Later, we visited the cutest little alleyways. One had the sparkliest of lights and a water fountain, and the other a plain backdrop that really made it easy to hone in on Sofia and Parker. The pops of red through the crepe myrtles were so jaw dropping (yes—red!) and matched Sofia and her outfit wonderfully. We ended our engagement session on the New Bern water, right in downtown beside the bridge. Wow, I dont know which ones are my favorites, but the water ones are a definite in the mix. Maybe its the way the sun was setting at that time, or maybe it was the way Parker was looking at Sofia. Whatever the case, the images came out breathtaking and I am just so smitten with their entire session.
