I met Kelly at this years first 21C Durham Hotel bridal show! I wish I could say I made this up, but the fact of the matter is that we bonded over our next business adventure—which is wedding alpacas. You heard it first, and trust me, this new endeavor will be the next big thing, ha!

On a real note, though, Kelly and Mike have been together since high school! We are talking—10 years together! Seriously, what a pair! They met through a mutual friend and have been together ever since. They recently moved to North Carolina (Clayton area) from Massachusetts earlier this year and have been loving the NC scene since arrival. What really struck me was how comfortable these two were with one another. And to be honest, their energy was contagious!

For their engagement session they wanted something that felt like them (which, is my jam), but also wanted to highlight some of the best parts of NC. Best parts you may ask? Our beautiful horticulture! We had a great time at the JC Raulston Arboretum, which when I showed them it was their first time seeing its beauty! Look, without me saying too much, you can just tell these two are in love with one another. Tell me your thoughts!
