Kristen and Joey hold a special place in my heart. Their original wedding date was postponed twice due to the pandemic. This past July, they finally had the chance to say “I Do” and let me tell you, it was the absolute sweetest thing to witness.

They were surrounded by friends and family on a summer day at The Bradford, located in New Hill, NC (right outside of Raleigh). I’ve never seen a ceremony on the courtyard of the Bradford, and theirs was the first. The beautiful door that typically serves as an entrance to the house was actually a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony. This was quaint and gave such a home like feeling to the wedding.

Later, we basked in the sun rays together for their family formals, bridal party images, and photos of them two together. These are some of my favorite images to date because you can just feel the love between Kristen and Joey. The way Joey looks at Kristen is contagious. How lucky are we to see a love like this?

The reception was a full on blast as Joe with Bunn DJ Company was the DJ. Kristen later changed into a reception JUMPSUIT! And this, my friends, are what dreams are made of. It was a night of great dancing and company.

C & D Events | Anthem House

a branding session at The Bradford in New Hill, NC

Let me start this off by saying that I enjoyed myself way too much for C & D Events (and the Raleigh’s newest Premier Planning company, Anthem House) branding session! Yall, I should have known that showing up to photograph a wedding planning company’s brand shoot that I would have the day made for me. I love a good schedule, and these ladies knocked it out of the park with one.

The day was split between having each planner do a series of flatlays and then a table spread later in the day. I dont know which one was my favorite! There were so many neat ideas and styles that accompanied each planner that I have a hard time choosing! Also, who knew you could dress up a table in so many ways?! The colors these ladies used were so dreamy and made me feel like I was living in my wildest home decor dreams. C & D Events is a team of wedding and event planners. Each planner has their own unique style, and this branding session was meant to highlight each lady and their style to showcase to future and current couples of theirs.

I am so lucky that I was able to photograph their branding session. It is truly an honor to be a part of something so spectacular.
