Cait & Jeremy’s Maternity Session

in Durham, NC

I have met Cait on and off throughout the years as we are in the same wedding industry circle. Later on, this fabulous lady became my absolute favorite hair stylist (shout out to Bella Trio!!). Seriously, she is actually the best! So glad I get to call her mine! So dorky, I know!

She and Jeremy are expecting in November. Word on the street is that they are expecting a little girl. How sweet. Seeing these two together makes my heart happy. The way Jeremy looks at Cait is just one of the sweetest things I could ever see. They are going to be wonderful parents, and I was honored to photograph them for this special occasion.

Their session took place around sunset at the Eno River right here in Durham. You can tell the difference in light from the beginning of the session to later by the softness of it. I dont do many sunset sessions, but I was so glad to have done this one—the colors just came out beautifully on film and digital. Big high five, world!

Raleigh Maternity Portrait Session

Miranda is expecting a baby boy!

I am interrupting this coronavirus pandemic to show you some undeniable pretty. Seriously, Miranda’s maternity session makes me want to have a maternity only photography business. Dont worry, brides—thats not actually happening. However, I do love photographing pregnant women!

Miranda and her husband are expecting in just a few short weeks! I am over the moon to one day be able to meet their little bundle of joy! For their maternity session, we met at Fred Fletcher Park in Raleigh and utilized some of the natural evergreens surrounding us to frame them. It was one of the first weeks that we could start to see a sliver of spring—some trees were just starting to bloom. It was so pretty to be there with friends like Miranda and Nate.

And as a side note, get ready to see my friend Miranda looking like a true goddess that she is! She is one pretty mama!!
