A Durham, NC Engagement session

I met Siera earlier this year at the Durham Food Hall bridal showcase. It was a fun day filled with so many couples coming by to check out the cool Durham space, but I also had the chance to meet so many engaged people! Siera was one of those people, and I am so happy that we met!

She and Michael are coined Durham-ites now; theyve been living in this city for over 3 years. Which, to me, means youre an official local. Siera and Michael wanted to do something fun, like check out some of the breweries downtown and really just take in the ambiance of a bustling city. We did just that. We started their session at Cocoa Cinnamon on Geer Street. Then, we popped over near Motorco, and then the hidden mural area right down the street. After a quick outfit change, we headed downtown and stopped at the exact place where Michael proposed. Talk about romantic. Their engagement session ended on the parking deck overlook the American Tobacco Campus.

It was a day well spent. Their laughs are contagious, and I can only hope you feel as happy looking at these as I was being there to document them.

Oh. My. Goodness!

Yall, these two were just the cutest to photograph! And get this—their names are Chris and Christina! I know, right?! Meant to be! Not only were they a joy to be around, they were absolutely wonderful in front of the camera. Sometimes my heart explodes and it did so once I finished off their gallery!

These two wanted to showcase some really special points in their relationship that dealt with Durham. Not only are they Durham lovers (yay—Durm!!), they actually met here in this city! We started off the day in Brightleaf Square and took advantage of the cute sites, then ventured off course to some beautiful places right in the area. We finished the day at Clouds Brewing—which is a fan favorite of the two. I just love when I have couples that love this area as much as I do!
