A Duke University Engagement Session

I so enjoyed meeting this pair! Aya and Neel met on Duke’s campus and wanted to commemorate their engagement by having their portraits taken on campus. I can’t disagree with them wanting to have their session there—I mean, have you seen Duke’s campus? Its as gorgeous as these two!

We started the day off near the stunning Duke Chapel. It was quite picturesque with the sun grazing just over the top of the chapel. The history behind the architecture here is stunning to read about, and I loved being able to document these two surrounded in it.

The last leg of the day was spent in downtown Durham. Seriously, I could not have asked for better light! We made a quick pitstop to see the American Tobacco Campus from a parking deck (my fave), and ended the day at the famous Alley Twenty Six. It was a spectacular engagement session if you ask me.

Hannah, Wes & Opal

A family session of 2 plus a pup!

Hannah and Wes just moved to Durham this year from sunny California! I was so happy to hear that they loved my images enough to have one of their very first photo sessions in their new state!

Wes is currently attending Divinity School at Duke University, and Hannah is a teacher in Raleigh! This year they added on their sweet pup to officially make a party of 3. Opal, their pup, is downright the cutest thing that has ever walked on Duke’s campus! Seriously, I thought about taking her home!

We wanted to document their first year in Durham, and how special is it that it was documented at the same place that brought these two here!
