Y’all, it’s true—elopements in Sevilla, Spain, just hit different. This styled elopement at Palacio 7 Balcones in Sevilla Spain is full of vibrant colors, romance, and a zest for life and love.

Once an ancient Roman villa, Palacio 7 Balcones is a dream setting for a destination wedding photographer (aka me, Nikki). Nestled in a cozy plaza in Castilleja de la Cuesta, the palace is a hidden gem featuring picturesque archways, Spanish tile, and lush gardens. Dating back to the 18th century, Palacio 7 Balcones has been carefully restored to offer modern luxury while retaining its old-world charm. With its stunning indoor and outdoor spaces, it’s the perfect Sevilla wedding venue to celebrate love and matrimony.

Elope in Sevilla

This styled elopement was planned by Lynn Weistroffer of Lux Wedding, an international wedding planner and designer with decades of experience. From the citrus-inspired outdoor dinner décor to the majestic courtyard ceremony setup, Lynn’s vision for an elopement at Palacio 7 Balcones in Sevilla Spain was pure magic. Photographing her design at this historic Sevilla wedding venue was an absolute joy. Keep scrolling to see more of the details and the beautiful moments captured during this incredible day.

“What I love about Spain is the culture, the food, and how they love. I’ve never felt more rested than I do after siesta. We came back to the States more refreshed than when we left. Spain is a beautiful country, and one day I’ll have a home over there—just wait and see.” —Nikki Whitt Belch, founder and owner of Fancy This Photography

4 Ways to Elevate Your Elopement at Palacio 7 Balcones in Sevilla Spain

Send Elopement Invitations - Even if your guest list is limited to 10 people—or fewer—there’s no reason to skip the fun of stationery! Elopement save-the-dates or invitations are a charming way to set the tone and create beautiful keepsakes.

Choose Unique Elopement Fashion - Two wedding looks are better than one! Pick one outfit for the ceremony and another for the post-elopement fiesta. Think outside the box—traditional wedding attire rules don’t apply here. We loved the statement sleeves on our bride’s first gown and the playful, couture vibe of her second two-piece ensemble. For grooms, monochromatic suits paired with high-fashion statement sneakers are a chic and modern choice.

Have an Elopement Wedding Ceremony - Eloping doesn’t mean skipping the magic of a wedding ceremony. In fact, we highly recommend it! An elopement ceremony allows you to commemorate the occasion, celebrate your love, and exchange heartfelt vows. Whether it’s just the two of you or a small circle of loved ones, a ceremony adds meaning and romance to your elopement day. Palacio 7 Balcones wedding venue has multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces that are perfect for an intimate elopement wedding ceremony.

Host an Intimate Dinner Reception - If close friends or family have traveled to celebrate with you, a small dinner reception is a wonderful way to thank them and share in the joy. Plus, nothing brings people together like sharing a meal. At Palacio 7 Balcones, the in-house culinary team can craft custom menus that perfectly suit your taste buds.

Fruit & Flowers: Elopement in Sevilla

Wedding themes and color palettes inspired by hand-picked seasonal fruit are one of our favorite ancient trends making a modern comeback. Party like the Romans did! Imagine a table adorned with overflowing cups of wine and vases brimming with fresh fruit and blossoming flowers. Incorporating fruit or food into your wedding table centerpieces is not only eye-catching but also memorable. Weddings and elopements in Spain are renowned for their rich, colorful, and flavorful culture—and that extends to their décor.

Styling your wedding or elopement with fresh and dried fruit is a creative, budget-friendly way to add texture, color, and a sweet aroma to your intimate event. We loved photographing these juicy fresh oranges, dried orange slices, and vivacious pink blooms paired with intricate blue plates and gold flatware. It’s serving classy cornucopia love feast!

Want to add a fun cheeky touch? Let your guests take home a piece of fruit as a post-dinner snack or even a treat for breakfast the next day.

Here are some fruits to consider including in your elopement or wedding table design:

Citrus: Lemons, limes, blood oranges, and pineapples (yellow or pink)

Classic Choices: Apples (red, yellow, green) and pears (red or yellow)

Grapes & Berries: Green, red, or black grapes; strawberries; blackberries; cranberries, cherries

Unique Ones: Fuzzy peaches, figs, plums, pomegranates, avocado

Seasonal Picks: Watermelon (yellow or red), pumpkins (orange, white, yellow etc.), squash, carrots

From vibrant colors to yummy textures, fruit-inspired wedding décor captures the spirit of life, love, and celebration. Keep scrolling to see more from this elopement at Palacio 7 Balcones in Sevilla Spain by Fancy This Photography.

Fancy This Photography is prepared for the journey, whether your wedding is in South Carolina or Southern California. Destination wedding photography is not for the faint of heart. You’ll want to select a vendor team that has national and international experience if you are planning a wedding away from home. Nikki and her team are pros. They understand exactly what needs to be checked on flights and how to calmly maneuver the stress of travel.

“Honestly, at this point, getting through security is a breeze,” Nikki says. “But, we like to be prepared for anything. For traveling, we always suggest that our team arrives at least one day early, just in case travel plans go awry.”

Once Fancy This Photography’s team arrives at the wedding destination, they scout locations and make itineraries for a flawless wedding day. Their carefully practiced approach comes with years of experience photographing weddings local and abroad. Outside of the United States, Fancy This Photography has traveled to Spain, Canada, Germany, and The Bahamas to capture nuptials.

When forced to pick her favorite wedding destination, Nikki selected Spain. “I think it's because it's my excuse to eat jamón!”

Jamón is a delicious dry-cured ham served in delicate thin slices. You can take the girl out of the South, but you can’t take the South out of the girl!

This reception table floated softly above the ground in warm shades of taupe, champagne, and yellowish pink, like clouds in the California sky. Ceramic centerpiece vessels and textured linens added to the tablescape’s splendor. Even the stationery, menus, and place cards carried the elevated flower theme.

Meet the Models

Angel Garet and Mary Cameron Rogers played the roles of bride and groom in this styled shoot at Stone Mountain Estates wedding venue perfectly. Not only are they real newlyweds, but they are also Hollywood actors! Angel and Mary Cameron’s natural chemistry and comfortability in front of the camera made Fancy This Photography’s heart sing.

The groom looked dapper in a classic black and white tuxedo with a handsome bow tie and watch to boot. Our bride rocked two unique wedding gowns, one strapless and one with delicately embroidered drop sleeves.

One of Nikki’s favorite images from the day was a close up of Angel holding Mary Cameron’s face in both hands. “Oh, it gives me chills when I look at it,” Nikki says. “I loved that we could do this shot!”

Christina & Kyle's Glacier National Park Wedding | Destination Wedding Photography

Christina & Kyle’s Wedding

At Glacier National Park

There are some places that I have visited that just are unlike any other. Christina and Kyle married one another at the most gorgeous place this country has to offer; Glacier National Park. There was not enough research on my end that could ever show the beauty that I was going to see while there. Not only were there native goats, crystal glacial water, and snow atop of the mountains—but, I had the chance to document one of the sweetest love stories I’ve ever witnessed.

Christina and Kyle met while working in Montana some while ago. They met while working at a farm together, and the rest was history. Although the two live in Colorado now, they wanted to make sure they tied the knot where it all started; Montana.

On the day of their wedding it could not have been prettier. The day started with Christina and her bridesmaids getting ready at a local airbnb in a neighboring town next to Glacier National Park named Columbia Falls, MT. Once ready, we drove about 45 minutes to their ceremony site inside the park. They married one another at Apgar Amphitheater which was right on top of the water, but shaded by beautiful trees that flanked either side. The best part about their ceremony was the way that Kyle looked at Christina when she walked down the aisle. It was a site to see, and a privilege to get a front row seat to.

After their ceremony, we took the Going-To-The-Sun Road all the way to Avalanche Creek and hiked to a stunning waterfall! This had to have been my personal favorite part of the day. It was just myself, my second shooter Caitlin, with Christina and Kyle in the midst of nature. Being on the east coast I dont really see Fir Trees all that often—and goodness, they were everywhere! The tone of green was something I rarely see in my home state, and we were completely wrapped in it. Very poetic for the day.

Later, Christina and Kyle met up with their closest friends and family at the neighboring town of Kalispell, MT. It was there that they had their first dance, toasts, and cake cutting. With the light setting so late in the day in Montana (who knew?!), it made for a jaw-dropping dusk. I am team Montana weddings for this very fact.

The next morning we met Christina and Kyle back in Glacier National Park for a morning farewell (as my second shooter and I left that afternoon) at the tip top the main mountain — Logans Pass. I really do enjoy these images for the pure fact that it was the day after their wedding, and they just had the best party of their life the day before. The landscape helps that out, too.

Congratulations, Christina & Kyle!

And a very special thank you goes to my second shooter— Caitlin with Caitlin Penna Photography
