Abby & Kyle

A Biltmore engagement session in Asheville, NC

Prepare for some absolute gorgeousness to grace your screen.

Abby & Kyle are set to marry one another in 2022 at the stunning River Forest Manor and Marina in Belhaven, NC. They fell in love with the southern architecture, the soft breeze of the water, and the feeling they had once they stepped foot on its grounds. As a nod to their future ceremonial grounds, they wanted to incorporate an engagement session location that is equally as stunning—and what better way to do this by heading to the Biltmore in Asheville, NC!

The one thing that I did not know until Abby told me was that the same tradesman who constructed the finishes and ornate ceilings of River Forest Manor, was actually the same Italian craftsman who contributed to the intricate designs at the Biltmore Estate in. How amazing is that? It all came full circle.

We are excited to be a part of such a sweet celebration and sincerely cannot wait until their 2022 wedding!

Caitlin & Keith

A couples session on the Blue Ridge Parkway

Caitlin and I went to photography school together. Well, we kind of did. Caitlin was in the class that came after me and to be honest we never really hung out. After she and I had both graduated, I found out that she lived near me in Durham, NC. That is when we started to officially become friends, and I am so glad we did!

Caitlin has since moved to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. Ironically, I was in town for a few days and knew if there was ever a chance of me finally meeting her boyfriend—this was it! What better way is there for photographers to hang out? We met up at Graveyard Fields and had a blast photographing one another. That is how these photos came to the surface. A love affair with my friends. And now, Keith is my friend, too.

P.S. Later on that night we ate at this amazing sushi restaurant in Asheville called Wasabi. Please, check it out.
