Raleigh Branding and Headshot Photographer

In today’s visual world, your brand is more than just your logo or tagline—it’s the way you present yourself to the world. That’s where professional branding and headshot photography step in to tell your story, convey your values, and leave a lasting impression.

Recently, we had the privilege of working with an incredible range of professionals and creatives, capturing images that showcase their unique personalities and professional energy. Whether you're a small business owner, an entrepreneur, or a team leader, these images demonstrate how tailored photography can elevate your brand.

Highlights from Our Recent Sessions

1. Capturing Confidence and Expertise
From doctors to executives, our goal is to highlight each professional’s strengths. One session featured a distinguished healthcare professional, Dr. Palmer, in her workspace. With natural lighting and a focus on her approachable demeanor, the image reflects both professionalism and warmth.

2. Showcasing Creativity and Personality
For creatives like event planners and designers, the photos focus on vibrant energy and creativity. We worked with the planners of C&D Events in beautifully styled settings that exude their brand’s aesthetic—elegant, yet approachable.

3. Bringing Brands to Life
For small business owners, like Shannon Kennedy of Shannon Media, the images were designed to highlight her editorial expertise and refined style. By incorporating personal touches and curated settings, we ensured her brand story came through in every shot.

C & D Events | Anthem House

a branding session at The Bradford in New Hill, NC

Let me start this off by saying that I enjoyed myself way too much for C & D Events (and the Raleigh’s newest Premier Planning company, Anthem House) branding session! Yall, I should have known that showing up to photograph a wedding planning company’s brand shoot that I would have the day made for me. I love a good schedule, and these ladies knocked it out of the park with one.

The day was split between having each planner do a series of flatlays and then a table spread later in the day. I dont know which one was my favorite! There were so many neat ideas and styles that accompanied each planner that I have a hard time choosing! Also, who knew you could dress up a table in so many ways?! The colors these ladies used were so dreamy and made me feel like I was living in my wildest home decor dreams. C & D Events is a team of wedding and event planners. Each planner has their own unique style, and this branding session was meant to highlight each lady and their style to showcase to future and current couples of theirs.

I am so lucky that I was able to photograph their branding session. It is truly an honor to be a part of something so spectacular.

Special thanks to all of the vendors involved!

Jane Rose Events

NC Wedding Planner

AH! I am so EXCITED to share with you one of my very favorite branding sessions from the year of 2020! Today, March 1st, is the LAUNCH DAY for Jane Rose Events! Yall, I have to tell you a background story of how I met the owner, Amanda, early on in my career—and how we got to now.

I met Amanda while she was interning with a local wedding planning company in Raleigh, NC. On my very first “big” wedding day, she was helping out as the planner! This was circa 2014-2015. She was a breath of fresh air, a lovely conversationalist, and a great person to have on the day of. Later, after she graduated from ECU, she started a job as one of the Events Coordinators at my favorite Durham wedding venue—the Rickhouse! I have to admit, Amanda is probably the reason that I was able to join the Rickhouse’s bridal show that year! She basically swooped in and saved me a spot as a vendor. For that, I am forever grateful for her.

Later, she felt her calling in Washington DC. This lady followed her dream and moved to DC to start her new career as a Corporate Events Planner. I was so happy for her, and honestly still am, that she dropped everything to pursue this. I admire that so much. I remember sending her an email to the tune of “follow your dreams! But, if you get tired of DC we will gladly take you back in NC! Dont rush, though!” Well, last winter came and Amanda reached out to me. She was officially moving back to NC to start her actual dream career—her own wedding planning business! Yall, I about gasped when I read the email! I was so excited to have her back!

With a new company comes new headshots and branding photography. And, Amanda wanted ME to photograph her! Yall, to say that I felt honored was an understatement! The place of honor for the backdrop of this session?! The Rickhouse! I know, full circle! Amanda’s branding session was so fun to be a part of, both of her grandmothers were part of it and were just a hoot to be around. Jane Rose Events gets its name because of her grandmothers names “Jane” & “Rose”. Take a look at some of my favorite images from their session and make sure to go look at Amanda’s new website!
