An Eno River Family Session in Durham, NC

My favorite part about my fall season is that I get to see some of my very favorite families! I have been photographing Jess and her family for about 4 years now. Each year we choose a different location, but they always come with the best smiles.

This year (fall of 2020) we decided to do their family session at the beautiful Eno River located right here in Durham. It was a beautiful fall day, as you can see from the images, and it was even better that we did it here because there was no foot traffic. YAY for sticking with Covid guidelines!

My second favorite part of their family session was actually after the session when I purchased some of Jessica’s face masks. Yall, she has the best face masks!

Take advantage of $150 off of your future family session.

Hi fancies!

This year I’m doing things a tad different. Since I can’t photograph families at the moment (the stay at home orders as of current) I am hoping to photograph more of you when the orders are lifted.

With this in mind, I’d love to offer a discount of $150 off my normal pricing of $450. The total for a 1.5 hour portrait session is only $300 (plus tax)! If you decide to book a family session during this next week (ending on May 4th), we can schedule your family session to any time after the stay at home orders are lifted. This is a great deal for anyone who is already planning on having their family photos taken this year. If you’re a family that enjoys fall photos, then this is a great steal, and we can schedule your session this fall.

Already a raving fan of Fancy This?! Send this blog post to your family and friends and let them know how they can not only support a small business, but also plan to document their family.

See below some images that are drool worthy! Get those creative juices flowing for ya while we are in quarantine!

Eno River Fall Family Session with the Holtz Family

We ended up putting a handful of pictures on the Thanksgiving card...It’s a true testament to your talent. I was honestly shocked we were able to make it out with more than one good one (not because of you of course, because of the toddler ‘tude that was in full force haha). There are multiple family ones we love, and I must say I’m partial to the ones at the end where Hallie was happy and hugging my neck! We thought Tucker looked so handsome as well, and we especially loved the solo one where you were able to edit his leash out! I’ll circle back with pictures of the cards for you, but I wanted to send a thank you! I know we didn’t make it easy. We’ll cherish the pictures forever!” — Tricia

I met the Holtz family this year for their fall family mini session. The Holtz family lives in Durham, so it was only fitting to do their session at the beautiful Eno River. I love how the Eno River has so many varietal backgrounds. There is the fun overgrown vegetation side of it, and then tucked within there are the beautiful tall trees with the calm river at the base.

With them included their daughter, Hallie, and sweet pup Tucker. I couldnt get over how sweet Tucker was to Hallie! Seriously! He was so calm and kind to her. Hallie seemed to have her best friend with her walking by her side. It was such a site to witness! I am so happy I was able to photograph some sweet images of their family during this time!
