I so enjoyed Brooke & Brian! Their day was filled with so much laughter (I am looking at you Mrs. Eleanor and Brooke!) and so much sweet emotion. Brooke and Brian started their day off at Croasdaile Country Club. They got dressed and ready separately, and decided that the best time to see each other would indeed be when Brooke was walking down the aisle with her father.

I love the huge windows at Croasdaile, it was the perfect backdrop for Brooke to get ready in and put on her dress. I have to admit, seeing her in her dress was such a stunning site. Brooke was the epitome of a classic bride, and I was honored to document she and Brian’s day. Brian wore a classic black suit and bow tie; it paired so well with Brooke and her gown. Together, these two were gorgeous.

Once Brooke was dressed and ready, we headed towards Greystone Church located right here in Durham. This church is extra special to Brooke and her family. Both her mother and her grandmother married at this exact same church. Brooke wanted to keep that tradition, and she did so beautifully. One of my favorite details that I loved about the day was actually about Mrs. Eleanor (Brooke’s mom). Mrs. Eleanor wore this light pink dress with embroidered pearls at the top—her mother (Brooke’s grandmother) wore that exact dress for Mrs. Eleanor’s wedding. How amazing is that?!

Brian is from Portland, Oregon—and his closest family drove/flew all the way to Durham, NC to celebrate with Brooke and Brian. The church was filled with about 10 guests, but dont let that fool you—the love from these two filled up the rest. My favorite part of their ceremony was when Brian saw Brooke walking down the aisle with her dad. Brooke was glowing; it was hard not to keep your eyes on her. They both knew the ultimate goal of the day was to marry and be merry. It was an honor to document such an occasion.
