I met Megan and Edward earlier this year at one of my all time favorite bridal shows — the Rickhouse Bridal Show! I instantly fell in love with Megan’s quit wit and sarcasm, and knew that their engagement session would be nothing short of amazing. My suspicions were correct. Megan wore this upbeat off-white and soft polka-dotted ankle length dress that stole my heart and Edwards at the same time. The way Edward looked at her was contagious and heartwarming at the same time.

We started their session in downtown Durham near Alley Twenty Six and even hit up the infamous Durham Hotel. Lucky us, the Durham was closed so we didnt have to ask for forgiveness to play in their foyer with those beautiful columns. Later, we found ourselves on top of one of my favorite parking decks that overlooks the American Tobacco Campus. If youre wondering if you can still do this during the ‘rona, the answer is no. Proceed with caution as there are parking deck cops that will come up to you and tell you to leave without explanation.

Megan and Edward winded down with our last stop of the day at the beautiful sunrise mural on Main Street in Durham! Yes! Isnt that thing darling?! When I see those images I imagine the Beatles song “Here Comes the Sun.” Do you?
